Crypt Wendtii is great for low-light low-tech set ups and is proven to be an adaptable plant, making it popular among aquarium hobbyists. Crypt Wendtii is a good sized plant, its height being 10-15 cm and a roset from 8-15 cm wide. Cryptocorynes are root feeders, having a nutrient dense substrate or offering root tabs will ensure healthy growth. If leaves die when first planted, it will develop new fresh growth. This is known as Crypt Melt, this can be aided with the use of plant fertilisers.
